This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Christi and David in Holland, MI--they are the cutest couple ever! This couple has such an inspiring story--they met in high school and have been dating ever since. They have been forced to be separated while David serves in the military (I have so much respect for such a young man willing to sacrifice so much!) David and Christi's original date was in February, and the poor couple had to change their date over and over because David's orders were changed. I felt so awful for her every time she called to explain---but finally about two weeks before their wedding, they set the final date! It couldn't have been more perfect weather too--sunny and about 70, just gorgeous! David flew in only the night before and they had their rehearsal the morning of the wedding---but it totally worked! They were so giddy and excited to see each other, not only because it was their wedding day, but because they had been apart so long. Watching them so much in love made me totally miss my husband!!
I am so glad that I could be part of their day--their family was awesome (they fed me so much food ALL day and made me feel so welcome!)
