Today the weather was gorgeous! March in Michigan is never predictable and usually not 74 degrees. I took full advantage of it and opened all of the windows, letting the new smells of Spring fill my house. I actually made sure I was not glued to the computer too, and instead took my kids to the park. We played on the swings, slid down the slides and hopped on rocked that created a "bridge" over a stream.
As I sat resting on a bench while Madyson played and scolded myself for not bringing my CAMERA, I thought "I am so blessed!" Seriously I love my life! I have a family that I love more than words can express, a husband that is truly my best friend, and a rapidly growing business that is my passion and also challenges me to become better as a person, a photographer, a businesswoman and friend.
How many of you really can say that you have a job that you truly look forward to every day?
Not many of us can. When I was finishing my Psychology degree, I knew that I was very intrigued with that line of work, but it never truly made me driven to flood myself with information. I CAN say that now about photography. I love it, I love the creativity that it helps me express, I love the challenge that every situation brings, I love the new "community" of photographers that embrace the idea of sharing information and teaching others.
This year, I have found so many photographers who's blogs and forum discussions have greatly impacted my business and life. Taylor Grey Photography will be changing a lot this year in some very awesome ways and so I would like to give some BLOG LOVE to the ones that I cyber-stalk. They are pioneers in this field, as well as very interesting and respectable photographers. Check out their blogs and their sites and maybe you'll find that you are cyber-stalking them too!
